jMinder 1.2

New version of jMinder today! Woohoo!

No feature enhancements...I just think it looks a whole lot nicer. jMinder is a little tool that you can use to send emails or text messages at some point in the future. Simply enter your note and where and when you want it to be sent and it will show up on that date.

Let me know if there's anything that could make this better. Also, tell me how you use jMinder, if you will. :-)

what happens if your server goes kaput?

Yeah, the server kaput thing is a good comment...if that happened I'd lose everything. Perhaps I'll back up the database on my local machine regularly...I'm more worried that people will change their email addresses, thereby never getting their jMinders!

Either way, jMinder works well for short term reminders...so give it a shot!

So I needed to set something up on jminder and found something you can add to it. You need a "repeat" option so I can set the same message to come up more than once. I need lots of reminders in my advancing age :-)

Good call, Mom! Recurring events is something that's on the jMinder ToDo list. Maybe when I come home I'll work on it...
